We live in Illinois by Chicago, so most of this doesn't apply to us. However, when we have a question about our boat regarding parts or service, we always call Glencove. They always help us out by phone and always give good advice. In fact, I refer other people to them, also. The reason that we know of Glencove, is that we own a Formula and we have gone to many Formula Rendezvous that they have hosted. They are like family!! When we go to The Lake, we always visit them!!

I just want to take this opportunity to recognize the exceptional customer service provided by your service department.  My 2008 Baja had the lower unit go out the Thursday before the 4th.  Your service staff was able to get my boat into the shop, diagnose the problem, obtain the parts from another Marina and repair my boat in 2 days.

This would not have happened if your service manager, Lyle Roberson, had not personally picked up the parts on his way home from work.  Tony (service tech) installed it the next day and we were on the water by 1 pm.

For someone with limited lake time each year, this quick turnaround time was phenomenal.  IN addition to the great customer service, Lyle and Toney were excellent to work with.  They do a great job of professionally representing Glencove Marina.  I might also mention that Pat Loethen does a great job as well.

I have been a Glencove Marina customer for many years and have always had good experiences with your organization…but this latest experience was simply outstanding.  Accordingly, I felt compelled to let you know what a great job your staff is doing and rest assured, I have already told about twenty other people as well.

Your team is the best!  Please pass on my thanks to Lyle, Tony and Pat.  I really do appreciate their outstanding efforts.

Tony’s work and attention to detail are beyond superb.  I never have to worry when he is taking care of the boat. Just wanted to let someone know what great service I received at the lake oh the 10th Sat.  Called with a starting problem and explained my problem to Lyle in your service department.  First thing is that I couldn’t of spoke to a nicer person.  He told me that he thought he had someone in the area and If he could he would get them by today or at least by tomorrow.  As it turned out we went to a nearby condo and had lunch and when leaving we spotted the Glencove service truck.  I flagged the driver down and gave him my name and asked if he was here to look at my boat.  He said yes and he had already been to the dock and determined the problem, but he had to get one more part and would return asap.  When he returned, I meet him at the dock and he made the repair very quickly.

We were back in the water in a matter of hours.  My wife and I would like to commend Lyle and our service tech Tony for such great service and both being so personable both on the phone and in person.  I have never used any of your service in the past even thought I own a Formula but I will be using you in the future.

Your service was performed at our condo at Indian Point.  Thanks again for getting us back on the water so quick.

My wife and I wanted to let you know what a pleasant experience we had in purchasing a Chaparral from Rusty.  We are novice’s to the boating world and the process to go thru in purchasing a boat.  Rusty was more than helpful in going out of his way to make sure we understood the process and explained everything in great detail to us.  We talked with him during the St Louis show a few months ago to start the process, even as busy as your people were there he still spent time to explain everything and made sure we understood the whole process.  Other vendors we visited at the show, the first thing out of their mouths was “Buy this boat, we’ll make you a heck of a deal”.  We know you’re in the business also, but he was more interested in making sure we got the right boat in our price range.  There was no push to purchase, he just wanted to make sure we were happy with the product and the experience.

When it came time to close the deal last Friday, he made sure we were comfortable in being able to dock it, and run it with no issue’s. 

You can be assured when it comes time to purchase another boat, you’ll be the ones we’ll come to.  In case anyone in our complex, asks us, we’ll be more than happy to give them Glencove’s name without hesitation.

Like many people, I don’t get the time to provide feedback to companies about staff or products unless it is extremely bad or extremely good.  In this case, good.  I wanted to reach out and let Glencove know how much my wife and I appreciated the assistance throughout the Glencove sales and purchasing process for our Doral.  In most sales related experiences I have had with cares, boats and even large electronics we cannot wait to just get the product and get out of the door because the sales process is so painful and misleading with the sales staff.  Our interactions were nowhere near close to these past experiences and would like to just pass alone our extreme satisfaction with Glencove.

You sold us a 1997 Mazum 2800 SCR this spring – it’s our first boat – and I wanted to thank you for all of your help and the time you spent with us.  We love the boat and had a fantastic summer with our kids and friends!
We keep the boat on the Mississippi River at ST. Charles and have learned a few lessons about river boating; like be sure you know where the rock dikes are when the water is high and how not to beach a large boat (oops!).  But we would not have been nearly as prepared without all the time you spent with us going over everything on the boat and taking us out on the water.

Want you to know we had an excellent sales experience with Rusty!  Worked with him to purchase a consigned 2004 SeaDoo Sportster.  Being boating novices we had lots of ignorance and questions.  Rusty was patient, personable and professional.  He spent a great amount of time with us on the water explaining and demonstrating features.  He gently shoved us out of our comfort zone so we could take advantage of the boat’s capabilities and potentially maximize our enjoyment of it, and he patiently helped us practice, practice, practice.  He was a delight to work with and we’re now busy telling all our friends how great he and Glencove were to work with.  Many thanks!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for being the best.

A few weeks ago I submitted a request online to have my boat dewinterized and to have the impeller replaced.  A pretty simple request at first until Pat read further.  I also requested that this service be done between March 23 and March 25.  To complicate things further I requested that Dan perform the service.

I try to schedule a couple days so that I can do some spring cleaning and prepare my boat for a summer of fun.  I also like to be here when work is being done on my boat.  Lyle & Pat do a great job at making sure my abnormal request is met.
I spoke with Lyle yesterday and he arranged for Dan to be at my dock at 8:30 this morning, which he was.  Dan performed the needed service and was very detailed in everything he did.  The boat was taken onto the lake to check things out and all systems are a go for this summers events.

I would like to thank all of the following people for making sure that Glencove Service is the best at the lake.  Pat & Lyle for making the arrangements to accommodate my schedule and service the boat when I wanted.  The parts guy for making sure all the right parts were available and Dan for servicing my boat in a very professional manner.

I would also like to thank Pam and all those that help put together the Formula Fridays.  Justin and all the dock hands at the 3MM for taking care of my needs throughout the year.  To all those behind the scenes, a thanks goes out to you as well.  A team effort goes a long way to providing great service and a fantastic boat.
